Weekly Roundup #20

My ‘Weekly Roundup’ is where I share the books I have received in the past week, whether bought, gifted, borrowed etc.
I apologise for no Weekly Roundup last week, but I didn’t actually get any new books!

  • The Left Hand of God by Paul Hoffman – this one has been on my ‘to read’ list for a while, and I spotted it in a charity shop and snapped it up for 50p.

That’s it for this week! What are your new reads?

  1. How do you manage to find charity shops still selling books for under £1? Most of the charity shops near me seem to be more like amazon prices!

    1. Well, there are four charity shops in my town and the majority sell for £1.50+. But there is one called Emmaus (which also happens to have the most choice) which always sells for 50p, 30p for teen fiction, £1 or so for literature, a little more for good history books. Then they often have sales where things are half price!I did wonder if it’s a shop exclusive to my county, but apparently not:

    2. Brilliant! There isn’t one near enough to randomly pop by, but if I am visiting friends I can see the odd one near enough.
