September’s Books of the Month are Prince of Thorns by Mark Lawrence (fantasy) and Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card (sci-fi), chosen by our members through a poll.
Dragons & Jetpacks is a science fiction and fantasy bookgroup, based on Goodreads. The group is open to all, all that is required is a Goodreads account. We read two books a month, one fantasy and one sci-fi – the third week of each month is when members make suggestions, and the final week of the month is used for voting.

Prince of Thorns has been sitting on my “To Read” list for months now. Good excuse to actually pick it up.
And the third book has just come out, so it’s a good time to start the trilogy =D
I’ve heard good things about Prince of Thorns, I should probably pick it up at some point. Ender’s Game is one of my favourite books, such a shame the author is abhorrent.
I know, I read the book before I heard about his views… and I kind of feel bad for loving Ender’s Game so much because of it =/
